School Profile

Overlanders is a safe, supportive school. We provide students the opportunity to develop academic skills, embrace positive attitudes and acquire comprehensive knowledge. Our programs include regular elementary (Grades K to 6), French as a Second Language (Grade 4 to 6), Behaviour and Learning Assistance and Opportunity. We work towards our  students becoming resilient and life-long learners as they build connection to our school, our families and our community. At Overlanders, students can participate in many clubs - Breakfast Club, AMA School Patrols, our Division II Leadership Team, intramurals and Junior ATB Banking. Throughout the year, parents and families share in student learning at special events such as Celebration of Learning and our Winter Concert.

Parents, businesses and community organizations are vital participants in the Overlanders learning experience. Parent volunteers are always welcome. The Parent Society (OCRPSA) raises and contributes funding for field trips and student activities. Overlanders is an active part of the community through fundraising and other outreach initiatives.
